Pros

Great benefits, decent pay (at first)

Cons

Be careful when recruiters lure you in with a lucrative comp package, one your non recoverable draw is up a new reality will slap you in the face. Constant restructuring of trams and territories make comp a complete lottery. Youll be lucky to have an account 6 months. EVERYTHING is about public image and ipo hype. The product and customer have been left behind. Arrogance and ego rules here. Employees all wear a smile in town hall, but behind the scenes and 1:1 all are miserable and waiting until the stock lockout to end, then moving on.

I’m bummed to read your review. You’re right - we have made some changes in sales compensation and as we’ve shifted, it hasn’t been perfect. We’re committed to a fair and equitable model for all team members, with sales compensation a big piece of that. I am however surprised by the other feelings in your review. I would like to listen to you and hear more specifics of your experiences. You can always reach out to me through email. - Anita

Pros

Free stuff, fun work environment

Cons

Bad management of fast growth. Company was restructured three times in the one year I worked there and everyone seemed lost. High turnover. LOTS of travel waste.

Pros

Pluralsight is full of bright, talented people who are mission driven and who care about each other. The work is meaningful and you can feel comfortable speaking your mind and contributing. There is a great culture in place and the company has been awesome at setting by goals and achieving them. I've also found management to be accessible and transparent.

Cons

There have been typical growing pains for a company that has grown as fast as Pluralsight has. The biggest complaint I have is that many departments in the company don't have career growth plans for employees in place yet. Sometimes it's hard to see what career progression looks like within the company. Pluralsight leadership cares about the employees and wants them to grow, but in conversations I've had with several leaders, they haven't been able to articulate a specific, clear plan and timeline for how I can grow.

Thanks so much leaving this review and for the acknowledgement of the leadership being accessible and the ability to be comfortable in speaking your mind. That is the culture of openness and understanding that we’re working hard to foster! You are right about career paths - thanks for sharing that. It’s something that we’re needing and are working on developing. Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback and for your contribution to the team! - Anita
