Pros

Striving for transparency and authenticity Great Benefits Great Work/Life Balance

Cons

Asking people to voice their problems to you and HR directly and then asking the whole company to do positive Glassdoor reviews for you during town hall. I can't stand when businesses ask for reviews.

Thanks for sharing your experience. If team members choose to leave their impressions of working at Pluralsight on Glassdoor, we want reviews that are honest and reflective of their experience. Reviews are one way we give candidates a glimpse into what it’s like to work for us. That being said, we did not ask for positive or good reviews, nor will we ever. We also want to make it clear that if there is an issue that needs to be handled, we want to handle it. And the best ways to do that is through our quarterly surveys, our town halls, 1:1s. You are always welcome to reach out to me and other leaders as well. I am committed to keeping the lines of communication open and the feedback honest, no matter the channel. - Anita

Pros

It is such a rewarding feeling to know that I am a part of a company that is sincerely making efforts to help improve lives, and is succeeding in doing it. The mission to create progress through technology, and our focused vision to be able to actually accomplish it, is refreshing and invigorating. The culture that has been established and lives through the amazing people who work at Pluralsight is unique and creates a workplace where I love to spend most of my waking hours. Our product is loved by our customers and is consistently improving. As employees, we are treated incredibly well through amazing perks and benefits that are available to every level of employee. I have never been more satisfied with the work I'm doing, the people I'm working with, or the company that I'm working for.

Cons

I can appreciate that the company's desire to be transparent to employees is an effort to help us feel empowered and involved. Some things that have been shared in the spirit of transparency, however, have created more uncertainty and concern for some employees over the past year than benefit. I believe the company has learned from this and will be mindful of what it shares broadly, and when it is shared, going forward.

Pros

This company truly supports human centered design, hires people that are awesome practitioners at the top of their game, and then builds org design and practices to let them do their best work. I've worked at a lot of companies that profess to do this, and then fail to provide the organizational design and support the practices to support. This is the healthiest team I have every worked with. Everyone is there because they are excited about what they do, and goes the extra mile to help one another. The company itself has an inspiring mission, and they take care of their employees with perks like unlimited PTO, and 100% paid for Health, dental, and vision coverage for the entire family. The work life balance is also great. rarely do you see many people in the office after 5pm.

Cons

If you are looking for a job where you can phone it in, this is not the place for you. Everyone works hard to accomplish the outcomes to create the best experience for our customers.
