Pros

I wanted to share my experience at Pluralsight as an software engineer, I am new to pair programming, and after about a year of pairing, I have to give it VERY high marks. I love how effective I feel in writing code together. The team-autonomy is fantastic -- allowing our team to interview real end users, decide what to build, build it, test it and ship it!

Cons

The commute to the office is the worst part of the job. The "open office space" is not the best -- but, works rather well for our team.

Pros

I can say enough about the mission, product and leadership. Thrilled to be here and be part of this experience.

Cons

Expect to adjust to changes. We are in a hyper growth mode and you need to be agile. In any job there has to be a level of trust that decisions going into the future will take your interests into account. So far, my trust has not been misplaced.

Pros

Opportunities to develop as a professional have been incredible--never experienced this at a company before Pluralsight Great benefits and office environment--I never have the Sunday night blues thinking about going back to work the next day Surrounded by great people Perks are terrific--regular massages, snack wall, weekly catered lunch, high end equipment and tools to work with Work/life balance has been so refreshing

Cons

As has been mentioned in other reviews, the extreme growth has been occasionally painful. People operations has, at times, struggled to keep up with promises made. Some positions at Pluralsight, simply due to the nature of the job responsibilities, have a an easier time of being recognized for great work and, therefore, an easier time in receiving the benefits of that recognition--promotions and trips to exotic places.

Thanks for sharing your experience and for taking time to leave this review. I love hearing that you’re experiencing incredible professional growth at Pluralsight! There are so many opportunities to grow and I love hearing that you’ve taken advantage of them. Formal recognition is something we’ve seen as an opportunity in our quarterly culture surveys and it’s something we’re developing more around - it’s important that everyone sees and feels their impact, no matter their role. Thanks for sharing! - Anita
