Pay could be better Questionable room for growth and/or advancement opportunities Certain sites can close down without notice I've worked for the company for about 5 years. I was a part-time ES at one location for a couple years until they closed down without giving me any proper warning or notification. I was told on a Monday that the gym would be closing down on Friday - leaving me only a few days to find another site/job to work at. I've held many roles and responsibilities, never had a problem with tardiness, but i found that 4-5 years of dependable service left me unrewarded. No pay raise, dozens of interviews for full-time ES, assistant gm, still no luck. I found a better opportunity with another company and was totally blocked from any/every manager I've worked for at Plus One.

The pay could be much better. Working in the environment we do and having the educational requirements we do, it's not fair that our hourly rate is so low. Often I will be the only one at my site doing the work of 3 people but making less than someone from a commercial gym.
