Pros

Free workouts at client corporate fitness centers. You get a motorized desk that elevates so that it becomes a standing desk. There are many “daytime characters” that can make it entertaining to work there. Employee discount on personal training and massages at client sites.

Cons

Get ready for the same % raise as everyone else. And that % probably will not increase much, if at all over your tenure. So Best to keep that resume updated always. Benefits are no frills. 401k is short of a matching contribution. And when you select your benefits make sure you double check they are the correct elections. If you see a metaphorical “knife” in your supervisor’s hand...watch out. Because they will “stab” you in the back the moment they realize you are smarter than them. You will work with supervisors too lazy to look for a new job. This is because your staff does all your work . But they go through staff level employees faster than a barista can make a cappuccino.

Pros

If you're wanting to get into corporate wellness, Plus One is not a bad place to start. I feel they foster the growth of wellness/fitness professionals pretty well and there are many avenues to go down.

Cons

Does not cater well to anyone in communications. Plus one is not very innovative, nor do they adapt well to their clients' needs. Also, the pay isn't competitive, like, at all.

Pros

great clients, steady and easy work, work life balance is good if you make it that way and don't train 24/7. the pay for training is pretty decent

Cons

no growth potential and extreme favoritism. benefits are horrible and no 401k match, work almost all holidays (loved being open for thanksgiving with one person on a treadmill), only 2% wage increase a year regardless of performance. Managers only care about themselves and not developing employees. I was there for 6 years and had trouble moving up when I was more than capable of doing the job. some people would start part time and in six months be assistant managers with no real reason. Ideas are constantly stolen from you and used to benefit others. salary is a joke but you can make more with more training. I joined when they were all about the clients, since being taken over those values have dissipated and it is all about the $$$.
