Pros

Opportunity to do meaningful work providing very needed services to children and families. Flexible to a point, especially if part-time. License helpful but not required for some master's level positions.

Cons

I can be difficult to obtain full-time status. Movement to other positions within company limited without a license.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. Ponessa Behavioral Health is diligent about providing employees the required supervision in relation to their roles, as per state regulations. Our agency requires additional monthly group supervisions, above and beyond state guidelines for BC/MT's, to ensure they are supported sufficiently. If an employee is interested in obtaining personal supervision from our agency, for professional licenses or the BCBA certification, we have policies in place for that process. These policies include successful completion of 90 days of employment and working a minimum of 15 hours per week. Thank you

Thank you for leaving a review. We are glad that you felt T.W. Ponessa & Associates was a good place to begin your career as an outpatient therapist. We recently raised rates for all outpatient therapists and lowered healthcare premiums or kept them at the same cost for all employees. We appreciate the feedback and have shared it with the administrative team. Thank you
