Pros

PTO- more than basic two weeks and ability to increase with continued time with agency. Flexible usage There is some ability to move and change positions with the company. Had some great colleagues Training opportunities

Cons

Unfortunately, I felt TWP lacked insight and understanding and did not value employees. While mental health is a challenging field to work in, there was a lack of respect and protection of their own employees well being. It often seemed as though there was constant blame upon employees for issues without examining how they might have contributed to the frustration and possible resignation of staff (lack of listening, problem solving, empathy). Directors often spoke down to other administrators and staff and did not lead by example. Policies and practices seemed to change scenario by scenario. Often, I attended work very anxious and not sure what to expect. It’s all unfortunate because I truly enjoyed my position and the colleagues I worked with closely on a daily basis. However, the negative culture and climate from upper administration depleted my own mental health and made me recognize I could not continue in this type of environment under any circumstances.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to hear about your experience. Our consumers and their treatment are of the utmost importance to us so we are disappointed to learn of your perspective. Additionally, our employees are very important to us as well. Should any employee be dissatisfied with their supervisor, we have always encouraged them to utilize their program director and upper management to assist with conflict resolution. We do our best to stay competitive with compensation in the field, and in fact, we administered exceptional raises in 2021 for Intensive Behavioral Health Services staff. We also do our best to provide resources and therapeutic activities for our IBHS staff to use for sessions, which are located in each county office. We have shared your feedback with the management team. Thank you

Thank you for the review. We are pleased to hear that you have felt supported and are enjoying your experience as a School Based Outpatient Therapist. The flexibility of a schedule that follows the traditional school year is convenient for many. Thanks again
