Pros

+ Free supervision + Possibility to earn bonuses and conference incentives

Cons

- From the main office, to the regional offices, the main focus of PBS is their bottom line despite promoting to put families first. - Supervisee does work while supervisor bills for it since insurance reimburses at higher rate - Positions of leadership given based on popularity, and not earned based on merit - Communication is abysmal. Expectations aren't clear. You will end up having to do additional free work that was not previously expected of you. - While supervision is free, support lacks direction and objectivity. - Supervisors dump work on their subordinates when they don't want to do it

Thank you for your feedback! I am glad to hear that you find our free supervision and mentoring as a benefit to your ABA education and career! I see that you also mentioned our conference bonuses, and I do hope that you have been able to take advantage of this benefit at your state ABA conference! I am sorry to hear that the communication with your regional team has been less than what you expected. I see that you are a current employee. I would gladly invite further direct and open conversation to discuss and rectify some of these concerns you have brought up. When we say #familiesfirst we truly do want the best for both our client families, and the families of our employees! Pros

Freedom to choose your cases. You are control of your own schedule.

Cons

I had written a positive review about PBS in the past, however my opinions have changed after the recent change to the employee system and some corporate decisions. I think the change to the employee system was very rushed and disorganized. Now it has become a corporation that is struggling to find middle ground and neglects other regions that are not Florida-based. I would love to see PBS regain its reputation by making more wise decisions in the future.

Thank you for your feedback! I am glad that the flexibility to set your own schedule and autonomy to choose your own case assignments has been a benefit to you! We do know that changing from an Independent Contractor to an Employee business model was a big change for everyone in the organization! We take feedback of both our employees and the greater ABA field into consideration when making many decisions (including the employee change) and hope to navigate these changes with smooth transitions and transparency. I see that you are a current employee. I would gladly invite further communication to discuss and rectify some of these concerns you have brought up.
