Pros

Some people are friendly and positive in their interactions with you.

Cons

Poor communication, organization, and coordination. Many in upper management, such as HR and regional coordinator, take a very long time to respond to emails and sometimes never respond. Poor professionalism, including in regional coordinator, which is a high position that influences the company culture, second only to the CEO. You'll see contradictory info, lack of communication, dishonest behavior, pushing blame on others who were doing their jobs, and lack of humbleness to admit mistakes and correct them. Terrible website that they require you to use for everything, called SharePoint. It crashes/malfunctions often. It shows a variety of incorrect information, including incorrect hours you've worked. Pages won't load or they freeze, even when you always use Chrome like they tell you to. You will always be directed to submit a "Solv" ticket, which is supposed to solve your tech issues, but there is no drop-down option for some issues, including tech issues, which are the most frequent. You'll be waiting for months, and about 99% of the time, nothing will ever be resolved. Instead of helping you, the person assigned to help you may pass on the responsibility to someone else, who also doesn't help you. Strict rules about how to perform your job and in other ways very loose with little to no guidance about what to do. Unpaid trainings that they offer you as if it's a choice to take the trainings, but you really have to get training to use SharePoint and to do your job, so it's not a real choice. They also don't offer trainings on many aspects of your job that should be trained.

Thank you for your feedback! On behalf of our leadership at Positive Behavior Supports, I am very sorry to hear about some of the reported issues you have experienced! We want our regional leaders to be available to provide as much support and collaboration as is needed by a team member, and we certainly want a sense of community and teamwork fostered in every single region we serve. I do see that you are a current employee. I would gladly invite further direct and open conversation to discuss and rectify some of these concerns you have brought up. Please feel free to message me at athacker@teampbs.com! - Amanda Thacker, Recruitment Manager

Pros

- Perfect for analysts who want a flexible schedule and more autonomy in the their jobs - Independent contractor position but you still get the benefits of being part of an organization that supports you. - No pressure to take on more clients than you want or change your schedule. Before coming here, I've heard stories of other agencies where they give you heavy caseloads and make you work during the weekends. - Monthly online CEU events that are free - Regional Coordinator and senior analyst are very helpful, responsive, and try to support you with clinical knowledge. - Information about potential clients are given to you (gender, age, location) so you have the freedom to work with clients you are comfortable or competent working with.

Cons

- No health insurance benefits and it might be hard to earn enough indirect hours for certain fund sources so you might have to do some unpaid indirect hours.

I did want to mention that we have recently undergone a change in our business model (as of 1/2019) and are now exclusively hiring Employees! I see that you are a current employee - please feel free to reach out to your Regional Coordinator, hr@teampbs.com, or myself (athacker@teampbs.com) if you have any further questions about the awesome new benefits that are now offered to our members of Team PBS! - Amanda Thacker, Recruitment Manager

Pros

Flexible Schedule, RBT Training, Good Pay

Cons

Response time from RegCo and office staff was never timely and led to frustrated parents and staff, which eventually led to those cases going elsewhere. Lack of follow through from senior BCBA's when analysts asked for support. Different messages. Definitely a clique, so if you are not part of that, opportunities are limited.
