Pros

This is a strategically competitive company that is well suited to win against competitors. There is a lot of smart innovation happening at the company. There are a lot of very smart, qualified, kind people who work here. Cofounders are mostly strategic, smart, thoughtful, and empathetic.

Cons

Compensation has stalled a lot. No 401K match. Very poor performance raises. A lot of cattiness at the senior management level. Some people run amok with extremely long leashes; others held to extremely high standards. Very aggressive on AI but also shipping a lot of AI slop at the same time. Biggest callout - reviews here were declining so certain employees were asked to leave positive reviews to (albeit temporarily) positively skew overall evaluation. DEI has been categorically defunded.

High autonomy, fantastic remote culture, and rapid career growth

Pros

Unlike any other remote company I’ve worked for, the culture here is built on genuine trust from leadership, giving you a ton of autonomy to own your projects. Management is super transparent, and you're surrounded by incredibly smart, driven people in a fast-paced environment where you're constantly learning and fast-tracking your career.

Cons

Things move quickly and roles naturally expand here, which might feel like a downside if you prefer to do exactly what you were hired for and don’t want to grow outside of that specific routine.

Pros

I’ve really enjoyed my time at Postscript. I worked adjacent to my manager at a previous company, so I already knew she was someone who communicates well, trusts her team, and gives people room to do great work. That made joining an easy decision. The biggest difference for me compared to past roles has been the level of trust and flexibility. I have more ownership here and somehow way less stress at the same time. People are treated like adults. You’re expected to solve problems, speak up, and contribute outside your job description if you want to. That startup energy is hard to fake. The culture also feels genuine. Smart people, low egos, and very little corporate theater. Teams collaborate well and people actually want to help each other succeed. It’s fast-paced, but in a motivating way instead of a burnout way.

Cons

Like any growing startup, priorities can shift quickly and processes are still evolving in some areas. If you prefer a very structured environment with everything mapped out months in advance, it might be an adjustment.
