Pros

It's a strong product driven organization. Compensation is good. You can have a high impact.

Cons

Growing pains of a hyper-growth startup. Constant pivots and changes. Difficult to work towards a long term vision. Easy for excellence to be eroded by mediocrity.

World-class culture and team

Pros

Postscript has built an incredible culture of innovating aggressively, celebrating its employees & accomplishments, staying humble, and enjoying the day-to-day. You can tell how much thought has been put into getting to this point, and how much is being invested into maintaining & iterating on it. Feeling appreciated and challenged at work makes such a huge difference to your peace of mind & quality of life. The leadership cares about you, and work/life balance is achievable. There's no such thing as perfect, but the team here is focused on getting better every day. It's deeply pragmatic and most things just make sense. I can't recommend this company more.

Cons

You'll be given a high degree of autonomy, and not everyone desires that level of freedom in their work. Being a self-starter and having opinions is really important, or you'll get lost. Being remote isn't for everyone. Postscript does a very good job of maintaining a stellar remote culture, but it's still 100% remote.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about working with Postscript! Our people are the backbone of this company and our leadership team not only recognizes this, but embraces it. You highlighted that feeling appreciated and challenged at work allows you to have peace of mind and a good quality of life, and we are very proud of our leadership team for keeping these factors a priority. Your perspective on the high degree of autonomy at Postscript and the remote work environment is spot on - applicants should be comfortable working in a 100% remote environment as well as have the drive to dive in, speak up, and get work done with minimal oversight. Everyone is trusted here from day 1 and encouraged to show up each day with their sleeves rolled up, ready to hit the ball out of the park! We hear you on more social co-working time and will include this feedback for the People team's planning discussions. So happy you are here! -Cailee
