Experience varies greatly by department

Pros

Nearly everybody at the company is young and motivated. The company has a good business model and is profitable and growing. Most of the C-level management is engaged, friendly, driven, and genuine.

Cons

In my department, our C-level head was a nightmare to work for. Very smart guy, but he has a true problem: he is a micromanager and he simply doesn't know enough about the nuts and bolts of his department to make those micromanagement decisions. The only opinions he listens to are those of two or three of his "trusted" subordinates, who have an extremely spotty track record to put it mildly. The end result is a department that's filled with waste. You have talented, hardworking people with decades of experience... working twice as hard to accomplish half the work they should be achieving. Why? Because things are so inefficient, and the poor decisions have piled up over the years. Again, this is just one department. They're not all like that.

Pros

I'm going to be completely honest about this, the pro's here are the con's to other people. For me, I loved the hustle. The beauty about Power Home Remodeling is that you get out of it what you put into it. They don't require experience and put in the time to train you to become great at your job. This is a great place to begin a sales career for you recent grads, Hands down the best money I had made since I left college and hands down some of the best people I will ever work with. You work hard and you play hard. The events that the company throws for their employees are INSANE, they understand how demanding the positions are and want to reward you for the work you put in. Everyone is very approachable from co-workers to the co-CEO's and the office is great. This company is going to be doing some great things in the future.

Cons

The schedule can be tough at times and there will be times that you are just burnt. If you're focused, you find a way to push through though. There are also some crazy people you come across in the field, just have to brush them off and move on.

Pros

You won't find a better culture anywhere else. Management does an amazing job of developing your skills and getting you on track to reach both your personal and professional goals. This is truly a place where if you work hard you will be greatly rewarded!! Also there are a lot of brilliant people with unique backgrounds at Power, its fascinating.

Cons

The only "Con" I can think of is at times, especially if you're not an outgoing person, the work culture can feel a little "Cliquish". My advice for that is push yourself to socialize, networking is very important, especially at Power. Also if you don't like working with young people this might not be a great fit as the majority of the employees fall within the 20 - 30 year old range.
