Pros

There are truly some great people there. The company culture can be great, if you're doing well. The company as a whole has some really positive ideas/initiatives as well.

Cons

Do not be fooled, there is no work-life balance. Their idea of work-life balance is incorporating work life into your home life. The good ones in management are honest about this up front though. The unfortunate part is how political it is. The company promises fair treatment and that promotions are based on performance alone, but there is too much special treatment for there to be a level playing field. While those with the top performance may appear to be earning the perks they get, there is often an unfair advantage to get them to that level in the first place. If you are willing to dedicate every part of your life to the company, it is probably a good fit for you. If you value things outside of your career, it won't be. (Also kind of a resume killer- hard to explain selling windows as a high level sales job.)

Pros

you bond super fast with the rest of the marketing department since you're literally going through every possible emotion with them daily

Cons

its hard. and i dont mean like a "not a spot for lazy people" im talking about the daily grind of people calling the police on you for soliciting, doors slammed in your face, people cussing at you, having to use the bathroom in the woods mid shift since no restrooms, homeowners lying to you all day just to have them cancel the appointment. estimates are NOT that easy to get. they make it seem like estimates just roll through like nothing. i saw everything at power and it changed me. your van becomes your fraternal brotherhood. these strangers become your fellow survivors on a lonely island of doors, loose dogs, and insane homeowners.

Pros

Locker room atmosphere Like minded people Good experience Solid first job

Cons

Management lies about what you are expected to make. Only the best few in the company make a solid wage and have a chance to advance.
