Pros

Great co-workers, casual dress code, flexible hours, variety in work, all the concierge services

Cons

Unrealistic expectations, people who cheat are looked at as good employees, they preach positive energy but practice negative energy. I watched coworkers get fired for speaking up about all the things that are wrong with the job.

Since we don't share the reasons that a team member is terminated with others, nor all the actions taken prior to that point, it could be that the "speaking up" was not done in a constructive way, or that there were other factors. Working for a cult

Pros

The actual work it's self is great. Fast paced with a lot of different duties, so it never gets boring.

Cons

You are literally working for a cult. If you don't conform to what they want you to be, you won't make it. If you have a voice, you won't make it. If you have an opinion, you won't make it. The management is an absolute joke and does nothing but gossip in meetings that are hours long. They don't appreciate hard or punctual workers.

I'm glad to hear that you did enjoy the work that you did here at Practice Velocity. One of the definitions of cult is "a situation in which people admire and care about something or someone very much or too much". In that sense, I might agree. The root word of cult is culture. Our culture is unique, and not for everyone. I'm sorry to hear that it wasn't a fit for you.
