Pros

I had a great experience at PRECISION. They provided a very fair work/life balance. I got along with my colleagues, who were generally very hardworking and talented people. They are understanding and see you holistically, not just as another body. They tried very hard to keep me but I ended up receiving a better offer elsewhere. Really made you feel valued. Also, completely remote. I loved my experience working here and I highly recommend PRECISION to anyone who has the opportunity to work there.

Cons

Because they really invest in their people, not so great managers can get into and stay in roles of leadership. I wish they offered unlimited PTO or a concrete summer Friday policy, like a lot of other agencies have started doing. Lastly, I didn't really feel like I had a lot of career opportunities but again, this could have been a personal experience and I wouldn't hold it against the company as a whole!

Pros

- Feel challenged and learn something new everyday - You work on a variety of projects which mean every day doesn’t always look the same. - Great culture that encourages you to take time off for yourself and maintan a work-life balance - Gain experience in the pharmaceutical industry, managed care, and medical writing

Cons

- Can work long hours sometimes because this is a very deadline-based job - The work is extremely detail-oriented so your mind needs to be “On” at all times which can be mentally draining - If you have doctorate, you may not be satisfied with the compensation because although it is set slightly higher than average medical writer salaries, the role itself doesn’t align with the salary trajectories/expectations of doctoral-level graduates. My main motivation for joining was the potential experience I could gain in this role and the chance to enter into this industry (which is really competitive/challenging)
