Pros

Management goes out of their way to ensure employees feel like they are a part of a family, whether it's flash socials, the Summer picnic, Halloween party, or the Holiday party which is going to be at beautiful Natural for the second year in a row. I've worked at places where you have to do everything short of begging to get a raise; here, each employee is given a merit raise at year's end based on their individual performance. We are also given yearly bonuses which have been paid out every year since I've been here. All in all, this is easily the best place I've ever worked and feel lucky to be on such a cohesive and determined team.

Cons

There are some late nights (as with every agency), but management recognizes efforts and brings in food and coffee for us in the morning and they go out of our way to thank us for our efforts to deliver on work.

Pretty decent facade, but terrible inner workings

Pros

-Pay was good, as were the bonuses -Moderately stable amount of work -Decent amount of PTO time -Work from home capability (limited)

Cons

-Benefits kept getting stripped down every year and cost more to boot (UMR is garbage) -Heavy, heavy turnover -In recent years, kept around truly abyssmal employees through fear of lawsuits, but levy their own no problem -If you're a moderately attractive Account woman, prepare to fail upwards at a record pace. The incredibly vain President blatantly plays favorites -Weekend work is expected and planned for nearly 3/4 of the year due to Merck. Work/life balance is shot -Good people have been leaving voluntarily or are pushed out of the company by catty and manipulative Merck Account people who wield entirely too much power -Bad employees hang around and push their work off on the good ones who are still around -Advancement opportunities are very low since the company isn't growing and it's the only way to keep direct reports in existence -Gladstone President's unchecked ego and feigned sincerity when work concerns are raised

Pros

- Some of the colleagues were great to work with. some...

Cons

- upper management views employees as work mules, pushing and pushing. One manager once waved money at our faces in an all office meeting that if we were able to answer a question, he'd give us $. That was weird - pay is awful for the amount of work you put in
