Pros

You will never be bored. There are many decent, hard working employees to include middle management people that are stuck/have sold their soul to the devil because of the pay/benefits but it comes at a price.

Cons

This company is led by a good old boys network that promotes a verbal abusive and hostile environment disregarding federal, state and local laws. Integrity and respect do not exist. It is a good thing Buffet does not believe in due diligence or he would have seen the legal liability this company is.

Pros

Good pay, Great bennies... stock options. Easy work environment (at least my job was).

Cons

Dangerous, poor environmental conditions... massive hazards, management does not care and is so much political crap its actually suffocating to work in. Union is a joke... work hard and you do everyone elses work, while the dumb and lazy sit on their butts! Union protects the lazy.. management is constantly out to screw you... fellow workers are a bunch of unruly children and will stab you in the back as quick as management will!! No home life... will sap you dead!

Pros

good pay, good benefits and a wealth of knowledge to learn.

Cons

UNION is no good, lots of lazy backstabbers. the union protects the non workers. no matter how much experience you have or how hard your work, you will be first to go in a layoff and the same lazy folks are still there. If you work hard they will ride you till you give up then move to the next person. management does care about your abilities or actual experience or your safety. they wait till some one is hurt or killed before they do anything. i know because i was there in the 96 explosion that was easily preventable. this company has been sold many time and each time they say their is going to be a change and nothing happens. the keep the same crooked management they had. lower managements give your jobs to contractors for under the table payment. upper management does not listen. your a number not a benefit to the company. It is not a safe place to work, if you take pride in your skills and knowledge do not work there you will be brain dead and have a horrible outlook on going to work. I wasn't laid off or fired, i quit after many years. to much lies and backstabbing going on
