Pros

Lots of room in management due to high turnover rate. Good pay and ample opportunities for new professionals to make big differences.

Cons

Very demanding work culture, long hours. High turnover of management creates a less stable structure and often leaves gaping holes in operational necessities. Benefits were not great.

Pros

Pay is great for someone with no work experience or education

Cons

The workplace is extremely toxic. Managers, supervisors etc dedicate their lives to ruining yours. There's no compassion if your child gets sick and you must miss work to take them to the hospital, or tire is flat so you're late or anything else. They also screwed everyone on their 401k. They matched a certain amount and then decided to transfer it to a Roth IRA and pull all their vested money back. The stock market has almost crashed since I invested so my 401k is deep in the red and they forced to sell low. HR will do everything possible to protect the company and their own interests. They don't care about you and will make sure you know it. They promise pay raises every 6 months but it takes another 3 or 4 months for it to go through. No one lasts more than a month or two so the turn over rate is absurd. They hire in groups of ten and only one or two will last a month. I was there for about 3 years and it was all for naught. The managers blatantly play favorites. If they decide they don't like you, they'll lie to HR to get you fired or make you quit. Do yourself a favor and work literally anywhere else. I could go on for days on how terrible this company is.

Pros

Dunno. If you can get a good bonus multiplier when you get hired, that'll help.

Cons

Toxic management - be prepared for higher ups to yell and scream at you. If you're salaried, you're going to be on call 24/7 no matter what they say - and if you're sick or otherwise unable to answer the phone when they call, they'll probably just not bother to try any more then management will yell at you when production goes down, because they'll just sit on their hands. If you need an example of how HR is not there for the workers, it's here. When they renovated the offices in one of the plants, HR made sure to run the planning of the office, and while everyone else got jammed into tiny open plan desks, everyone in HR got a private office with their own private conference room.
