Pros

Great Snohomish county location. Free parking cafe on site. Nice walking trails during lunch.long working relationship with staff.

Cons

They are currently hiring new customer service representatives at more than $3.00 an hour from where I am currently being paid. I have been with this company for almost 16 years. They say they are trying to attract new talent, but what about the talent they already have? I find it unacceptable they won't take the time to review their current talent. I have been rated a 4 by my Team Leads in all my years. Do they not value my talent? Really frustrated with this current inadequacy. Rumor has it, leave and come back then negotiate your wage. So miffed. What would your members find value you? An experienced person feeling taken care of or a newer employee who spends too much time trying to figure it out?

Pros

Respectful and incredibly nice business culture with opportunity to move around different areas of the company. Healthy habits promoted with incentives tied to tracking fitness activities. A lot of people work out at lunch, go running on the Inter Urban trail + Cross Fit does programs on campus during summer months. Work life balance is respected at all levels of management- with very few people working (at least on campus) outside designated business hours. Health benefits are very generous as you would expect working in the industry- and its very affordable to cover your whole family.

Cons

Working in the suburbs can be kind of a drag if you're a city person. There's really no good restaurants nearby and the cafeteria food on campus is not great (it used to be - but food vendors changed and it's now only so-so.) The work itself can happen slowly which can be frustrating to those moving from other industries- especially high tech. Because the business is regulated and subject to public policy (federal, states, + insurance commissioners) you need to be flexible in approach and thinking.

Thank you for your response. We are proud of the healthy and active lifestyle that is encouraged on our campuses and are pleased you see the importance too. Our culture continues to evolve as more and more work is done to keep the customer at the center of all we do. We are grateful you are with us for the journey!

Pros

If you have a good manager, great place to work. In 11 years there I had 10 managers. Some good, a couple great ones, and a few bad ones.

Cons

They talk about culture but it's undefined. The culture they actually have created is one of fear of losing your job at a moment's notice. They're laying off people in batches so as not to stir up media attention while they are simultaneously hiring new people, replacing experienced well-paid employees with people with little or no experience and saving tons of money by paying entry-level wages. Another con is the uncertainty of the company's future in the current political environment.
