Absolutely no personal satisfaction working there, morale is always low.

Pros

They do pay well, but you will earn it. Other than that, it's difficult to come up with any real pros.

Cons

Very stressful at times, teams are short handed and almost all IT positions are salary so they can be long hours. The medical insurance leaves much to be desired.

I have been afforded the opportunity to grow in this company. I enjoy working for a catholic hospital and love my patient population.

Cons

Healthcare is changing, and in the last two years I have felt like a production worker more than a nurse. It's all about your productivity, not about the patients.

Pros

I love working here and it is the best job I've ever had. My manager is wonderful and it seems that leadership listens to employees and has made many changes to make things better. The people who work here are genuinely nice and care about what they do. There are many advancement and learning opportunities and they believe in mentoring employees.

Cons

This industry has continuous change. Premier believes in taking care of the community and this sometimes means the company absorbs more than its fair share of healthcare costs for those patients who don't have insurance when compared to other hospitals in the area.
