Pros

Premise Health is a national corporation that is quickly making a name for health & wellness in the employer-onsite and retail worlds. The company offers varying medical services including physicians, NP/PAs, RNs, PTs, and exercise. The compensation is negotiable. Because the company is based out of Tennessee, there is not point of reference for the "going market rate" so when negotiating pay, also ask for what is on the higher range of fair. Benefits are decent. Health insurance varies in choices and can be pricey ($60-250 range for a single person). Be sure to negotiate a higher pay for this reason alone. PTO is 4-5 weeks per year plus 9 company paid holidays.

Cons

Although there is a lot of support for continuity and educational opportunities through Premise Health, each site is managed differently because each site is geographically separated and responds to a different population's needs. Some locations have multiple sites with a large staff but some are slim. Each site relies on the site lead to manage operations. Some providers get taken advantage of and do not function at the highest of their abilities which causes burnout. Because everything is so spread out, there is no connection to the company and sites/employees feel isolated.
