The company is so disorganized that most people don’t know what you are working on. You can just act busy and keep quiet.
Cons
This is a bad place to be a developer. You will not get to write code. You will only fix bugs and everything is an emergency. They don't care about engineering and think the entire team is an unnecessary expense. The engineering team reports to the head of product and he doesn't understand how to turn his computer on without help. They laid off most of engineering in March and have been hiring back to rebuild. This is a lie. They are hiring because the platform is falling apart and they need more people to apply bandaids. Any smart engineers that get tricked into joining are rewarded with long days full of bugs and unreasonable deadlines. Most burnout and quit even after only a few months.
