Begin as a recruiter, get promoted to senior recruiter, then to account management. All very small increases in salary, and once you become an account manager, you're given the same few accounts that get passed around by the other account managers that don't want them. Most, if not all, of the solid accounts in the Atlanta area are accounted for by tenured acc managers. Lastly, pray that the economy stays stable or growing, because the second it trends negatively, people stop hiring through recruiting agencies as often
