Pros

Decent starting hourly unless you live in a high income area. Commissions can be high if you commit fraud or put “ghost lines” on customer accounts.

Cons

Non in-store management is completely out of touch with in store workloads, the economy in general and overall people’s attitude towards phone stores. Higher ups consistently pushing sleazy car salesman type tactics which do work “rarely”. Most newer generation customers are pushed away with this attitude/sales tactic. Commission structure consistently changes every month to find ways of giving you the employee the least amount of money.

Pros

Potential for high commission, great coworkers in my store, AT&T discount on service, vendor perks. If you get a good manager, you'll enjoy your work day to day.

Cons

Too much to say in the space available....but to summarize: -Unrealistic minimum sales requirements (new lines and internet) -DMs expect RSCs to commit fraud to hit goals -Docks the manager commission checks if internet sales goals aren't met, but the Internet Air is garbage in comparison to our competitors with fiber options. -"rerate rerate rerate" -Out of touch main office who makes decisions on commission/hourly pay structure in a stagnant market

Pros

Recently increased hourly pay which has been very helpful

Cons

Promotes strictly employees that regularly commit fraud to beat goals. Cut sick time to 3 days a year besides being strict about taking PTO even if it’s not a “blackout period”.
