Pros

Decent pay. Relaxed setting, jeans and phones are ok.

Cons

Everything is micromanaged, from sales to how you close. If you forget one feature you face getting a write up. Forced to push products without worrying about what is best for the customer. Can have an extremely good month then have a slow month, and you begin to feel rediculous pressure. Managers have a "boys club" where you have to fight to complete daily tasks.

Pros

The measly paycheck at least came on time.

Cons

Let the list begin. First there is an incredible amount of fraudulent activity coming out of every store. I managed 3 different stores through my tenure and the expectation is to do "whatever it takes" to get the job done. As we launched digital life, the expectation was to sell or leave. And in order to sell you had to cheat your customers. Cancelation rates ran rampant which only caused you to get charged back more than what you made on it originally. They are in a rampant growth mode, which only amplifies their incapability to manage at any level. There is no such thing as an HR department, no true training and the expectations are unrealistic. the DM's in Texas are a complete joke. If management was the Mob, then the DM's are just cronies. I ended up moving on to a career with another National Dealer for AT&T- Spring Mobile and they at least know how to operate. They have ample budgets, great leadership and a true understanding of how to do business ethically.

Pros

Discount on phone plan, good job for young kids.

Cons

Micromanaged all the time, burn you out long hours, no real lunch breaks. Keep you commission when you leave. Dishonest selling practices just bundling stuff into a price and saying included.
