      Opportunities to learn in smaller Hospital setting. More exposure to different departments. Self starters can make it work and grow fast.

      unfair breaks and understaffed

      Pros

      I work in behavioral health and they do a good job with helping you curate your schedule. You work every other weekend which isn't too bad and they are 12 hour shifts. For the most part you are able to pick up overtime shifts pretty easily.

      Cons

      They took away our 15 minute breaks and we are now only allowed a 30 minute lunch break for a 12 hour shift. They also don't offer good insurance, they only offer EPO and can only see their providers. However you can sign up for a "PPO but it's disguised as an EPO" and you still need to ask for referrals for every provider outside of the Prime Healthcare system if you need to see someone who's a specialist and they can still deny it. A lot of staff have bought private insurance. Due to these issues it's been very difficult to keep staff and the turnover has been really high.

      Plenty of work. Manager and Supervisor tries to accommodate you providing a good work life balance.

      Having to use Prime Doctors if you choose the company's insurance
