Pros

I have had the privilege of working at Prime Therapeutics and I must say that the CEO, Ken Paulus, has done an excellent job in fostering a culture that supports remote work. Even after the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has continued to prioritize remote work and recognizes that productivity is not tied to physical presence in the office. This flexibility is truly appreciated by employees and has made a positive impact on work-life balance. One of the standout features of working remotely at Prime Therapeutics is the option to use your phone for work-related tasks. Being able to access Outlook emails and Teams instant messaging on the go has made it incredibly convenient to stay connected and responsive, regardless of your location. This level of accessibility contributes to a seamless workflow and helps maintain effective communication within the team. As an L2 employee, I have found that Prime Therapeutics trusts its individuals to manage their own workload and schedule. This level of autonomy allows for a healthy work-life balance, as you have the freedom to plan and organize your day based on your own preferences. As the manager of audits and the coordinator for meetings, I have found that as long as you complete your projects within the designated deadlines, there is a great level of trust and appreciation for your work. One of the perks of working at Prime Therapeutics is the access to Udemy courses through a membership. These courses are highly valuable for personal and professional development, with some of them priced at a significant amount. The company's provision of this opportunity for self-growth during downtimes is commendable, and I highly recommend taking advantage of this resource. Overall, Prime Therapeutics is a company that truly values and supports remote work, allowing employees to have a healthy work-life balance. With the trust given to individuals and the provision of learning opportunities, it's an excellent place to grow both personally and professionally.

Cons

While Prime Therapeutics offers some incentives such as bonuses, there is room for improvement in terms of overall compensation. Although there are instances where employees receive substantial bonuses, typically ranging from 13% to 15% of their annual salary, the base pay could be more competitive, especially for professionals in higher-level positions such as audit managers. For individuals expecting a salary range of $80,000 to $120,000 for their level of expertise and responsibility, relying on bonuses as a significant portion of compensation might feel uncertain or unpredictable. While bonuses can be a nice addition, a higher base salary that aligns more closely with industry standards would be preferable for many employees in managerial positions. Additionally, it's worth noting that pay raises at Prime Therapeutics may sometimes be in the range of $2,000 to $3,000, which translates to a relatively modest increase in percentage terms. This could be a consideration for those looking for significant salary growth or seeking to match their experience and skills with a more substantial increase in compensation. It is important for companies to consider offering a competitive and fair compensation package to attract and retain talented individuals in key roles. By reassessing and adjusting the base salaries for professionals like audit managers, Prime Therapeutics can demonstrate its commitment to recognizing and valuing the contributions of its employees more directly and consistently. Overall, while the company has some attractive aspects, such as remote work support and professional development opportunities, addressing the issue of compensation, including pay raises, could further enhance employee satisfaction and attract top talent.

Pros

Remote work environment, provided essential equipment for work, nice pay.

Cons

Difficult position with minimal training and the expectation you will learn quickly or be axed. This position requires lots of logic, heavy Excel knowledge, with tons of self training only to learn during work hours only. Hired as a Contractor and was let go for not learning quickly enough. High turnover!

Pros

Amazing employees, people that really cared for members and doing the right thing.

Cons

Sr. Leadership keeps trying to save money and downsize employees while increasing workload with promise of enhancements that never happen.
