Pros

Paid holidays are nice and the PDO is acceptable

Cons

I worked for Magellan Health and we got bought out by Prime. They gave us a raise just about 3 weeks ago. 34 cents. Time to move on.

Pros

Remote and that’s it. The fact it’s remote with a somewhat decent pay of $17.65 hourly.

Cons

The training for the Member Services and Help Desk Agent positions are horrible. The trainers can be snotty, rude, and just seem to know what exactly are they doing. It’s also my like they don’t understand their own jobs. They rely on something called “The Hub” but the hub job aides are not helpful. Sometimes the sides leave a wide open gate and you’re lost on the phones as a new hire. You’re bombarded with a heavy queue of 500 calls coming at you. All your calls aren’t going to be related to what training teaches you. There’s a lot of miscommunication among the managers, supervisors, learning coaches, senior agents, and team leads. A lot of them don’t care about new hires and it’s like their lost as to what their job truly means to. When you ask for help nobody can articulate what exactly is needed to be done. You’re crammed with loads of material about a member plan information, multiple systems, and just phone calls that you’re not sure you’re giving the right information out. You’re lost in this position big time. They just want you on the phones that’s it but don’t truly care about nothing unless you miss days out of work. During training you get a write up for missing one day but the supervisors are extremely fake and phony they’ll laugh it off as just a warning but it’s literally a point towards you getting fired. Don’t be fooled. A lot of the staff is superficial and brown nosers. You’re hired in a huge group they train you through teams. The group you’re apart of is are unhelp people or lost people as well. They do these weird questions about your personal life and comments that’s not related to the job. The micromanage is bad. The supervisors will be reaching out if you miss one day or not on the phone taking calls. All they do is avoid getting in the phones and it’s like it’s a job where your lost figuring stuff out. You can be giving out the wrong information for all you know. It’s like the environment is very superficial and micromanaging. Like everyone is brainwashed but pretends to be nice. I watched a trainer be very rude to the new hires, she was talking down when we had questions. It’s ridiculous.

Pros

Great Training classes and trainers. The training class was very engaged and fun.

Cons

After training everything goes downhill. Everyone uses Teams to communicate yet everyone ignored your questions. The staff are very rude and cynical. They clearly hate this job and it shows. I have heard other workers complain about the lack of support here.
