Pros
The only pro is getting exposure to a large trauma environment and getting experience.
Cons
- employees are treated worse than trash and paid worse than trash also - the lab is dangerously understaffed and run by a greedy corporation (LabCorp) who has no regard for worker wellbeing or patient safety - each employee is expected to work the jobs of three and not make mistakes or take breaks - PTO is a joke - you will be degraded, disrespected, underpaid, and part of a dangerously understaffed lab run for nothing but profit while patients suffer the consequences. This "non profit" organization literally only cares about the bottom line and will hopefully sacrifice patient safety and quality care to maintain that. Run far far away and save yourself the trauma or working here.
