Pros

the base salary is alright for entry level

Cons

I left ProCare a while ago, but am still absolutely traumatized by the job. If you are looking for a company who cares about their employees as people and not numbers, this is not the place for you. Every single day is a battle at ProCare. Everyone's head was constantly on a swivel to see who would be brought into the next 1:1 meeting with a petty manager to get fired. My hiring class was almost 50 people, and I believe we had 10 or so left after the first 6 months. Looking for decent PTO and benefits? This is NOT the place. New employees accrue 3.5 hours of PTO per paycheck, no sick days, no unpaid time off. Even in emergencies, there is no grace. Tree down in the middle of the road blocking you from getting to work? Better doordash a chainsaw or else you'll be fired before 9am. Snow and ice on the roads? Forget about trying to work from home, that is management's worst nightmare, doordash some tire chains and get to work on time. Never in my life have I seen so many people in the same place struggling so bad mentally. The excited AE's who started with me were completely different people by 3 months in. We were visibly drained to the point of crying in our cars together on our lunch break everyday. Gossip, hookup culture, and immature behavior from senior leaders ran rampant. If you are considering working at ProCare Therapy, run. Even if this is your first job out of college and you are desperate for any offer, run faster. There is so much more to life than work, but at ProCare, work is life and nothing else matters. I promise, any other offer (even if you have to wait) is better than this.

Pros

- Hands off approach, allows you a lot of independence as a clinician. I was contracted with a school and most of my communication went through them as far as my job duties. My recruiter checked in periodically. - Reliable and consistent pay. I logged my hours each week and was paid accordingly, weekly! - Easy onboarding and offboarding process. They walk you through onboarding and when I decided to end my contract, I let my recruiter know and they did the offboarding work! - I stayed with the same contract for two school years, so I had no worries of finding another contract and it made my life and Procare's easier. - They have contracts in multiple states, so if you are moving they can help you with finding a new contract!

Cons

- Some recruiters are better than others, more personable/less personable, etc. - Some love the hands-off approach, some don't. - Pay raises are rare and minimal. You must negotiate your pay and advocate for yourself; however, they may have someone else lined up for the same position, willing to take the lower pay, so be cautious.
