Pros

Gave me my first big city job out of college. There wasn't too much sales pressure - at the time I worked there, we basically placed temp staffing folks into the jobs that others procured. Free food. Developed good friendships with people at work.

Cons

Long hours. Low pay. They practically force you to leave for no good reason. I had many friends there who were forced out for various reasons. Aaron forced me out because I told a recruit that we couldn't help her for what she was looking for. Management fail!

Pros

- Strong culture, definitely some great people to work with and hang out with out of work - Lots of internal promotions - Brand name in the industry - CSP, ASA certifications - Management training from staffing industry leaders - Plenty of opportunities to grow professionally - Tons of structure and process's that have been tested over time

Cons

- Days can start before 8:00am and end after 6:00pm - Employee turn-over is high even if better than industry - Too much top down pushing instead of encouraging bottom up results

Pros

PSG offers internal employees ongoing training and mentorship that helps them grow as business and staffing professionals. They promote within and you don't have to wait around for your manager to get promoted for a promotion. As a smaller organization individuals have the chance to contribute to the company's corporate initiatives right away and feel as though they have a voice; you don't feel like another number. I've had the experience of being promoted multiple times in my 8+ years with the company And I know that the business exposure and training I have received would never have happened elsewhere. The opportunities that exist inside of PSG and the ongoing development is uncomparable in the Boston market. It is rare to find a company these days where the CEO is as hands on and available as ours is. The organization is full of people who are focused on the same thing; Growing their careers, growing the business, and building successful partnerships with their clients and candidates.

Cons

Recently the company has added to staff (and still have current openings!) and we are growing out of our current space. We have upgraded and will be moving the PSG office to a new location very soon!
