Pros

The work is kind of fun and everyone is allowed to curse.

Cons

They pay too little for the volume of work and the importance of our role in the legal process Disrespectful to its employees, serially lies to its clients. The junior partner smokes marijuana on the job and jokes about it but harasses handicapped medical cannabis state card holders who work for him. They make you sign out for 15 minute breaks like 2nd graders going on bathroom breaks even though all their employees went through criminal background checks and already have proven to be trustworthy.. The manager escorted an employee out that is handicapped and stands 3 feet tall in order to intimidate him after he made a valid point about the poor training materials supplied. The manager is one of these big steroid jock types.

Pros

Lunch break with 2 fifteen minute breaks. Business casual attire.

Cons

I worked for this company for 2 years. Management leaves much to be desired, and upper management sees their employees as numbers and not people. They hire and fire people more than any other company that I know of. Job security is nil- I saw layoffs happen twice a year, with the company letting go of new hires, as well as long term employees who were an asset to the company just in order to save a buck. Upper management will do whatever they can to ensure that they keep their 6 figure paychecks, and receive their bonuses every year- including layoffs. They would rather see the work pile up with less employees, rather than keep their employees and see that the work gets done in a timely manner. There are a number of teams performing different jobs for the company, and depending on which team you are on, depends on how good or bad your manager is. There is no company wide policy for overtime, or being sent home without pay- it is up to the manager's discretion. The team I was on had a manager who would send us home early without pay if we no longer had PTO/Vacation time, and if we did have time left, we would have to use it to cover those hours lost. Mind you, we were being sent home due to company computer issues, not because we wanted to. Meanwhile, other teams got sent home with pay, regardless of their PTO/Vacation time left, and did not need to touch their time left. This company lacks room for growth, managers who will halt you getting hired for a higher position in the company simply because you are good at your current position on their team. They do give you a lunch break, with 2 fifteen minute breaks, which is nice, and the office dress code is business casual which was great. However, if you would like to be seen as a number, not a human being with a name, and have absolutely no job security, and put up with upper management who have no problem letting you go at the drop of a hat, no matter what your skill set, and who are quite unprofessional -there are plenty of e-mails out there to prove it, then this is the company for you. I am embarrassed to admit that I actually worked for this company, with no tact or management skills. Upper management sees their employees as dispensable and who are only worth having in order to ensure they get their bonuses. How many expensive upper management cars can one see in the parking lot? And you are getting treated unfairly on a daily basis and walk around underpaid? More current employees than not have nothing to say but complaints about the company, their manager, or upper management. When you are getting interviewed, it seems like you have the possibility of working for a great company. But spend some time being behind their doors, and they'll show you the company's true colors. The only other pro is that I did get to meet some really great co-workers. Although they didn't like the company's unfairness and terrible management, they did make the workday a little brighter. Little to no room for advancement, considering certain managers can put a halt to your ability to change teams for a better salary, and to broaden your skill set.

Pros

Flexible schedule, that's about it.

Cons

The strangest job experience I've encountered. No one took the time to onboard new employees. High turnover, lack of moral, lots of micromanaging. A basic cubicle farm with outdated technology and managers who could care less about their employees.
