Pros

Nice location, nice parking, clean office, cubicles, etc..). Allowed to dress casual (shorts, jeans, flip flops, sleeveless dresses, etc...).

Cons

Glassdoor is requiring me to give a rating so I can continue using the website, so here it is. I was layed off in 2020, so this review is pre-corvid. The hardest working people in my department rarely received recognition. Coworkers regularly logged out when a harder and more time consuming cases appeared in the data entry queue. To my detriment I always took on every case and never logged out. I saw it as a challenge. As a result, my manager perceived me as being the slacker on the team as my production rate was lower than my team member who avoided the harder cases and had a better production rate than I did. They was hailed as the standard I needed to strive for. I pointed out the reason for the discrepancy between our production rates and my concerns was dismissed. In fact, I was told to concentrate on improving my numbers. My manager knew little about the data entry process (for the region I was assigned to). I created reference material for myself and shared it with my trainees (data entry spreadsheet, training material, notes, etc.) So well organized was the material I created for myself, my manager requested I share with the other team memebers, which I regularly did wach time I updated the material. I was told months later I would no longer distribute the updated material as another manager would takeover doing so (my hard work and credit to that manager), but to look at my annual employee review, I was a mediocre employee. It was rumored in the office the reason you hardly ever received a excellent or outstanding in your Annual Employee Review was because they didn't want to pay you what you were worth. Which would explain why just before Corvid hit they were in the process of outsourcing our jobs to India., rather than pay what we were worth. What was really a slap in the face was that we had to train India how to do our jobs, but they refuse to be straight up with us when we asked if we were losing our jobs, but Corvid happened first and we were layoff due to that. I take comfort in the fact that new owner who made the call to outsource our jobs to India, underestimated the value that I and other underpaid team memebers bought to the company and are likely regretting their choice.

Pros

hmmm, tough to answer. They are very relaxed on the dress code.

Cons

micro-managing, overbearing, revolving door concerning staff (only a handful of workers there over 2 - 5 years). No room for advancement at all, wants more work out of employee and no extra money. NO INCENTIVES AT ALL!!
