Pros

Proctor Financial is a company that values its employees, making sure that basic needs are met for competitive rates of pay, fun informative thorough training, great benefits and true direct employment that is obtainable after a contract employment trial period. There is a teamwork atmosphere and many company team building opportunities.

Cons

It can be a stressful atmosphere some days when the phones won't stop ringing. The atmosphere is always one where we need to be aware of our performance the job requires; being quick, accurate and committed to good customer service.

Pros

Well, lets see hours are descent, OT available on a limited basis, actual job functionality is not difficult.

Cons

where to begin. lets start with training....or the trainers..... hire some that knows what the job is all about, some one that shows up on time training is like 3 weeks long it needs to be longer or get a better trainer if its gonna be a condensed version just to get bodies in seats cause you are experiencing higher than normal call volume. Next is TL's and Sups. Get some that know the ins and outs of all the systems. dont know how many times i heard "i dont work in that system i dont know and cannot tell you how to use it" from a TL. You have sups that cuss on the floor of the call center, that are rude and disrespectful to employees. that talk about other employees they dislike or feel are not good employees and laugh about it. very UNPROFESSIONAL, you have an upper manager that looks like she just ate a turd when you go to her desk, always has a pissed off look on her face wont make eye contact when she is speaking to you. makes one feel like she is unapproachable for help. there was 1 TL for 60 employees (they actually promoted 2 processors to TL ) If your a Temp employee (not hired in yet) you are not invited to the company town hall meetings or Christmas party. The majority of their work force is Temp workers and they are not invited or allowed to the Christmas/Holiday party way to make your employees feel wanted and special. unfriendly co-workers, backstabbing, gossiping, gotta watch your back. LET GO 2 WEEKS BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!!!! WHO DOES THAT..... MERRY CHRISTMAS.

While we welcome employee reviews, some of your comments are pure assumption and not factual. Contrary to your comments, our success rate for training has doubled within the last year and our turnover rate has decreased drastically. Proctor makes training a top priority as we understand that a strong and knowledgeable workforce brings in high results. It is great that you mentioned high call volumes in your review. We have brought onboard several new clients, and we can expect to bring on more for 2017. This new business that we have acquired is the reason for the increase in call volume, and the reason why we can bring new staff on board. We welcome the new call volume because we are more than confident that our staff can accommodate our clients and customers’ needs successfully. Time and time again, our staff has been able to resolve any issues that may arise. Generally temporary employees are eligible to transition over to a permanent employee after 90 days. This transition is based on performance, production, professionalism and attendance. Each temporary employee has an opportunity to meet the requirements for the position for which he or she is employed. This is evaluated on an individual basis, and is based on if qualifications have been met for the position. Each situation is different, and PFI has had many temporary employees transition over to permanent. Since November 1, 2016, we transitioned 51 temporary employees to Proctor staff. We strive to hire individuals that excel in meeting the requirements of the organization. Most of the workforce is not made up of temporary employees, 90 % of the workforce is permanent employees, and it is difficult to determine who is a temporary employee because there is not a negative stigma attached to being a temporary employee. Employment law dictates how involved a temporary teammate can be with the day to day operations of a company. We are required to follow Federal and State laws regarding treatment of temporary staff and understandably, you may not be aware, and most likely the reason you stated the above comments. We make every effort possible to include temporary staff when we legally can. Temporary staff participates in events such as employee appreciation week and can also attend informational Town Hall meetings. Temporary staff is also privy to Proctor merchandise such as shirts, hoodies, and water bottles/mugs. There are some events that are exclusively for Proctor employees; the annual holiday party being one of them. We have a commitment to our employees to ensure that they are communicated to and made abreast of changes within the organization. As temporary staff are not direct employees of Proctor, at times there will be information that does not directly affect them and therefore, not shared with them. You would have a better understanding and appreciation for what Proctor offers its employees if the opportunity had been allotted to you. We hope that you find success elsewhere.
