Pros

I've been working at Professional Sports Publications for 15 years. Through hard work, I've been given an incredible opportunity to advance my career. I work with an extremely talented group of people that inspire me each day. Many have become great friends.

Cons

If you are not ready to work hard or like being on the phone, this is not the job for you.

Pros

Great people! I have met some of my very best friends at PSP while also learning how to sell. The training is great and it works. If you buy in to the process you will be successful. Management is always willing to help, all you have to do is ask! The culture is great and cant say enough about the people and the opportunity to make a great living as a young sales professional!

Cons

Inside Sales is not for everyone. If you are not comfortable being on the phone do not apply. If you do not want to work to make your money this is not for you. There are easier jobs where you can make less money.

Pros

This is a great entry level sales position that teaches you the basic skills needed for a career in sales. This isn't a typical clock in, clock out 9-5. Your success here is totally in your hands and you will get out of it what you put in. You're given a formula for success and you just have to work it. As someone who has left the company and returned, I can tell you that what is expected here isn't any different than any other sales type roll. If you're not prepared to come to work and give your 110% everyday then please don't bother sending in a resumè. It's not an easy job but it can be lucrative!

Cons

There is no real opportunity to build a relationship with the clients you encounter. Most sales are a 5 minute phone call with no further interaction.
