Pros

PSP provides a wonderful entry level position for new hires entering the workforce. You get the opportunity to learn fantastic inside selling skills, comfort making cold calls which is a very important skill set, one that is valued amongst any employer. Most importantly you will gain the understanding of how to sell. Selling is an everyday skill set and once the process is clear to you, you'll be able to provide value in anything you do. This is a great place to get started in sales.

Cons

This position is certainly not for everyone, and you will see that with such a high turnover of employees. However, this isn't out of the norm for sales forces in general regardless of where you go. I do feel that overall there is a lack of specific development with promising sales people. Making sales and becoming successful is part of a holistic process where skills must continually be developed, thus bringing more value to the market and increasing the reps overall income.

Pros

Good people, fun atmosphere... Decent first job for someone out of college. Boss and fellow employees usually always willing to help

Cons

They turn off the internet, it's all cold calls, don't have the control that other sales jobs offer. The print ads are a dying budiness
