The People: At Price Intelligently, I work alongside some of the most driven, intelligent, and dedicated people I've ever met. Better yet, the hands-on and collaborative work environment means I can constantly glean energy from my teammates as we work towards shared goals. We challenge each other, respect each other, and support each other -- the team at Price Intelligently is far-and-away the most important part of what makes the company special. The Work: We help both bourgeoning and established companies optimize their pricing strategy. We work with companies on the cutting edge of a wide range of industries -- and when I say a wide range, I mean it! The first day on the job I sat in on three calls: one with a company in the consumer lifestyle category, one with a publicly-traded technology company that sold it's products primarily to government agencies, and one with an international company that developed a mobile dating app. There is never a dull moment at Price Intelligently because with each day comes new, unique challenges that face the most exciting, forward-thinking companies in the world. The Future: As more and more companies learn about the value we can provide them, we continue to grow our company and while this means that we have to adjust to the growing pains internally, I have wholehearted trust in the leadership at Price Intelligently and their ability to scale the company while preserving the strong culture we've established.
Cons
Naturally, playing an active role in a fast-growing startup means harboring a lot of responsibility. I would not recommend PriceIntel to someone who doesn't perform well under pressure or doesn't feel comfortable assuming a large amount of responsibility (even in a non-leadership capacity).
