Pros

At the current stage (at least in my opinion), a lot of our success will hinge on the leadership team. The CEO and CPO seem to be in sync and are making a lot of moves currently (right around 50 employees) to make sure we're cutting the fat and pushing us in the right direction (streamlining revenue side of the house, working on more middle management, etc.). At my last company, the leadership team didn't evolve so this is good to see. Mission focus is really, really strong at ProfitWell. We're trying to do a few things that haven't been done before and the communication around those aspects is really inspiring and motivating. Revenue growth is insane right now, which is pushing us forward and you can feel it.

Cons

The wheels feel like they're going to come off sometimes. We feel super behind on hiring and I don't see/feel PeopleOps picking up the pace as much. May be happening and we are bringing on new people almost every single week, but just need more. Company is customer funded, so we're scrappy. That comes with cutting some corners sometimes. Not the important ones, but we're in an older building (not Class A space), so it's warm in the summer (A/Cs help, but can still heat up). Onboarding needs to be better for team members. Right now it's still too much trial by fire.

Pros

The team at Price Intelligently is second to none. Every single business unit is made up of the most intelligent, hard working individuals you could ever hope to work and learn alongside. None of my coworkers have an inflated sense of self - everyone at the company understands the importance of fulfilling their duties to keep the whole team moving forward. Everyone understands and is committed to the mission of being the center of the SaaS universe. Company leadership does a great job of being both thoughtful and decisive. Important decisions need to be made constantly, and the leadership team considers everyone's input while still acting with purpose. We're growing fast, and hiring has been a huge initiative over the past year - it seems as though every new employee makes the company better, and that's a testament to our ability to evaluate talent and make great hires. Your contribution is never taken for granted, and your hard work never goes unrecognized. This is a company that understands the importance of making their employees feel valued, and for that I am extremely grateful.

Cons

New employee onboarding and training has yet to become a formalized process. We're growing so fast that oftentimes new employees are forced to learn mainly through observation and trial by fire. With that being said, you are surrounded by a team that wants you to succeed - they will go above and beyond to make sure you have answers to your questions.

Pros

Being on the team at PI is an incredible experience if you're up for the challenge. It's in the midst of scaling and this year has been one of extreme growth for the entire team. Although the management team is still young, they're dedicated to helping the whole team level up and try to keep an open and honest workplace. Many things are debated out in the open and sometimes the debates are quite lively but there's always something to learn from the outcome. This is a great place for someone willing to work and grow with the team as opportunities are plenty for learning a ton about the SaaS industry and strategy.

Cons

It's a demanding job. The company is growing quickly and all hands are on deck for most of the time. The management team is really good about making sure everyone takes care of themselves and uses vacation time but this isn't a place for someone who wants a simple 9-5 job.
