Refreshingly challenging and accepting working environment
Pros
-Opportunity to build out your role or in some instances, an entire department, from the ground up. This typically involves collaborating with executives, founders, and leaders at some of the most high growth and innovative tech and subscription companies in the world today. -CEO is one of the most thoughtful and intelligent people while also traveling over 100k miles per year on behalf of the company for speaking engagements and workshops singing the good ProfitWell word. He's also the most knowledgeable person on the planet about subscription pricing, metrics, and almost any other business topic. -Entirely bootstrapped and customer funded since inception - ProfitWell is one of the most efficient growing subscription and businesses on the planet because of it's founding and management teams acumen, as well as the overall commitment to finding people who exhibit PW values and truly understand there "are no free rides." -Flexible work/life balance, unlimited vacation policy, and top tier benefits programs - office is located right downtown, dog friendly, cold brew on tap, and bevi machine.
Cons
1. To be successful at PW you have to be comfortable with taking on an overwhelming amount of ambiguity - while most roles have structured OKRs and duties, they're evolving quickly as the company, market and product changes which can be difficult for some employees to keep up with. 2. Frequently changing or simply newly building out of internal processes which is natural in most startup environments 3. Hiring middle management is difficult because of how unique the business/product and respective positions are within the industry 4. Growing quickly in headcount so during peak hours there is sometimes limited call rooms for meetings (champagne problem!) 5. Need a scrappy mentality - for folks coming from venture funded startups, this might be a wake up call because we're bootstrapped and extremely cash efficient
