Pros

You can advance relatively quickly, if you push hard to be successful and try to help others along the way, and keep all your metrics up (which there are many of).

Cons

Micromanagement can be a bit much, some supervisors are pretty out of touch as far as remembering how it was to take 80-100 challenging calls a day, and can pick a few calls out at anytime and rake you over the coals for it.
