Pros

They allow you to slide your schedule around up to hours. PTO is easier to get approved than when I worked at State farm

Cons

The SUPERVISORS ARE THE WORST. I was moved to a new team because the sup needed a low maintenance team which I see why because she is never in office. Which is ridiculous to put someone on a team with a supervisor that is never in office during their first year in the role so I'm constantly having to figure things on my own because there's no support and there a few knowledge articles for the role to self teach with. The claim volume is unrealistic. Im getting up to 12/13 new claims a day and I don't even get a full shift to complete it because they force you to take inbound calls for an hour sometimes 2 hours out of your shift meanwhile your own customers are calling and leaving a thousand new messages for you to return while you was working some one else's desk. We have a wasteful meeting every week that takes up and almost 2 hours of the day. I told my supervisor I was overwhelmed and needed more support as a new rep guess what? Retaliated with every performance management she could find. The job is stressful enough there's no need to put ppl under supervisors who make it their mission to pick and take off early everyday so your stuck waiting days for a response to your question or diaries just for the customers to be harassing you about an update. Also the company promotes customer abuse. Customers can and will call 8 times back to back and won't leave a vm, then call into customer service and have them IMing you lying saying they can't ahold of you when they JUST left a vm 2 minutes ago after calling non stop to talk about the same things over and over again meanwhile your board is filling up with your work faster than you can clear it. A work day in CCU is like someone burying you alive at the beginning of your shift and telling you to dig yourself out of the grave while they keep throwing dirt on top of you. I wanted to get out of this role but due to nitpicking and retaliatory performance management I can't get out of this hell hole of a role. Very disappointing experience because they have so many ppl online thinking this is the company to get with when it's not even worth the stress and burnout you experience.

Pros

Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity, Independent, Supervisors are nice

Cons

overworked (given and expected to complete much more than 40h worth of work each week), constant revolving door of major changes, culture feels like high-school, common to find people struggling to get into the positions they want despite having the requirements and trying multiple times but being told they need to do more (even when they are at capacity), in order to progress you are expected to do far more than what is required of you and to work even more hours on top of the 40 of your life you already give each week. Never seems enough,

Pros

The opportunity for growth is there but it appears management main focus is contacting a customer within 0-24 hr of the claim being opened, NOT when it’s assigned to you. I enjoy working from home …and that’s about it.

Cons

Underpaid, handling claims and other teammates claims and only getting paid 50k isn’t ideal for me. When first starting I thought it was good but once I knew how stressful it is and unattainable they’re metrics were…I became not interested. I’m actively searching for employment elsewhere as we speak.
