Pros

New CEO is implementing long awaited changes. ELT team is finally shaken up and complacent/useless/overpaid senior execs being let go. Loyal high performers have been promoted. Hopefully the new external recruits at leadership level will be better than the ones who were let go. Strategy is refocused on the value created for project managers after previous leadership launched many useless products and focused exclusively on sales, which didn't work, upset many members and caused complete chaos. Regions are finally provided clear direction, plans are much more focused. PMI is still by far the largest organization representing the PM profession globally and is still offering the best development opportunities for employees and volunteers.

Cons

Compensation is not competitive enough. Product portfolio is still a hot mess and requires pruning.

Pros

Remote work environment Paid time off

Cons

The pay is disappointing, especially considering the current inflation. One would expect PMI to acknowledge this and adjust our salaries accordingly. The heavy monitoring in our department makes it a less enjoyable work environment. It's unfortunate to leave such feedback, but this situation has impacted my mental well-being, and I'm exploring better opportunities with higher compensation.
