      Pros

      - amazing supervisor and manager - good teamwork - breakfast Wednesdays - flexible schedule - provide maximum number of hours you can work overtime

      Cons

      - was promised a long term full time job and ended up become a contract year to year job. No promise I would be there the year after. - Charter changed processes so the PC role i had would eventually be non existent. I applied to a number of job internally, no where to move up or have an equivalent job. - Too scary to be thinking if I’ll haves job one year but not the next. - unorganized - no raises - standard processes are not taken too seriously.

      I'm sorry you had this experience. We strive to communicate that our positions are project-based, and the lifetime of our typical projects last between a year and a half and two years. However, we also have several employees in the market who have exceeded that tenure. It just depends on skillsets and industry demands.

      The work goes beyond the eight hour shift

      Pros

      Not getting stuck inside the office for long hours.

      Cons

      Aside from the field responsibilities, there are responsibilities in the office as well which I think should be done by another. There are reports that need to be submitted on a weekly basis that I couldn't really find time anymore. The work I do goes beyond the eight hour shift in the field and doing things at the office adds more hours.

      Pros

      Everybody chipped in when all hands were needed. Not micromanaged. I worked with guys that had a lot of experience and many years under their belt; they were very knowledgeable and great at teaching if you were willing to listen and learn.

      Cons

      A lot of closed door meetings; not involving the people who were actually doing the work. Upper management allowing certain employees to do whatever they wanted. Promotions given to brown noses that did barely anything and nothing given to the employees who were actually working.
