      Pros

      Great company culture, lots of perks (onsite massage, onsite gyms, onsite fitness classes, daily meditation, onsite free wellness center, onsite cafes), friendly atmosphere, work-life balance, smart co-workers who care about their work, lots of fun celebrations, meaningful work

      Cons

      Career paths are not always clear, it is not the highest paying company (but many of the perks make up for the pay)

      Pros

      People are generally friendly. Business is growing quickly. Benefits include free gyms in most buildings and company-sponsored events. New products are launched frequently.

      Cons

      I agree with many of the other reviews on this site. There definitely is a "Promega way" which shows itself negatively in company politics and who gets promoted. Management supports and advances those who do not question the Promega way. Those who think like management get preferential treatment. People who think differently than management have limited options for advancement or long-term careers. There is rampant "group-think" and "decision-by-committee think" which result in people not being able to make decisions on their own.

      Really innovative products. The R&D group is continuously innovating new products.

      Cons

      Privately held company, not much specialization among employees, and not much process around HR decision making.
