Pros

I joined this company because I was impressed by its strong values, dedicated team, and meaningful mission. Everyone is wonderful to work with and truly wants to support one another. I appreciate the flexibility in my role that allows me to work from home and adjust my schedule when necessary. My manager supports my growth and encourages a healthy work-life balance. The paid time off (PTO) and company holidays are great. I enjoy being able to use volunteer time off to contribute to my community. The company just added a lifestyle savings account, which I haven't had the opportunity to use yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

Cons

I personally don't have much to say for cons. The company is growing and moves fast. I like that type of work environment, but I realize it might not suit everyone. But if you like working for a company that is growing, this is a great place with many opportunities.

Pros

Flexible remote work setup. Opportunity to learn during training sessions.

Cons

Extremely low pay ($20, only paid on the 1st and 25th). Lack of empathy for employees facing technical difficulties. Abrupt decision-making without considering individual circumstances. Poor communication and support from management.

It may be helpful to clarify that this was an independent contractor role and not an employment role with our organization. Employees are paid bi-weekly, every other Friday. Employees are also provided with laptops and the tools needed to be effective. Contract roles do have different expectations and schedules, which are outlined in job postings and contracts. As a remote-first organization, we understand that connectivity and technical challenges can occur. We are committed to being supportive whenever issues arise while also considering the needs of our entire team. If there are instances where someone is unresponsive for several days and shows little engagement compared to their peers, we may face the difficult decision to part ways. We approach these situations with empathy and care, recognizing that they can be tough for everyone involved. Pros

The work is challenging, good tech practices and new technologies

Cons

Your personal progress is the last concern of the company, they also lie to their employees with false expectations related with performance reviews. They will tell you "wait for this and that" and they we will say NO or you're fired. Salary is bad, at least for Colombia based people, underpaid in comparission with the market. Benefits are bad.
