Pros

Company truly lives according to values and senior leadership does a good job bringing the right people on board.

Cons

Work is challenging, but in my humble opinion it should be. Just not for everyone!

Excellent Culture, Strong Values

Pros

There is a true "team" culture at Propelus. Leadership takes the company's values seriously. Remote-first, but with offices in select cities is a plus for those who live nearby and want the option to go into the office on occasion.

Cons

The pace of the company is very fast, which isn't necessarily for everyone.

Pros

Nowadays no one, 3 years ago it was a really good company with an excellent culture.

Cons

The original owner sold a big part of the company to a new investor, so, after that... - No job stability. - They decided to dismiss more that 60% of the employees in the last 2 years, including people that have more that 10 years in the company with good performance. In that last "reset" they decided to not give the bonus that some employees had if they were fired. - Salaries are not good, they do not give pay rise easily for people in Colombia, in the best case you can get only a 3%. - For developers, only one person is in charge of deciding if a dev can get a pay rise or not, but this person don't have direct contact with devs and doesn't know what that person really did, he just makes decisions based on what he remember. - In the past, we could propose ideas about technologies but now we must do what 3 people think, no matter how that affects the service or product you manage.
