Communicate Clearly, Stay Respectful and Opportunity to Manage Teams

Pros

If you perform well there's opportunity for growth and moving into supervisor roles but you've got to stay on top of communications with employees from a variety of departments and on top of many different clearance levels and access expectations

Cons

Like others have said, you're working in a lot of Class A buildings, so it sure beats retail but the cost of living in the Bay Area is high so I had to move onto a new job path

Great security company to work for

Pros

Lots of class A high-rise buildings to work in. You get paid every other week and correctly. Union company with union sites and benefits, Everything is done locally no need to contact St Louis to get a payroll correction or Boston to answer an HR question.

Cons

San Francisco Bay Area only so you can not transfer to another state.

Sites are within walking distance

Cons

The lack of understanding from management when it comes to outside obligations. Not having your back with it comes to dealing with unreasonable clients. Office staff is condescending. No promotion from within.
