Pros

Provoke is a great place to work. Extremely talented people, fantastic management style and supportive culture. People really look after each other and everyone respect others. There are plenty of snacks always available and there's always something to celebrate... from birthday cakes every month, to shared lunch or dinners a few times throughout the year. CEO is the most friendly person I have ever met. Very easy to talk to and your voice will be heard. Great work/life balance. The company really looks after the employees!

Cons

Everyone is too friendly that it makes it difficult to complain about your workmates if you need to! Not many career growth opportunities available. Chances are you'll stay at the same role/level that you've been hired, for many years without change.

Pros

My time at Provoke across the nearly 3 years were probably my best learning and growth years but also some of the most fun! I started there at a time where the whole business was firing on all cylinders and some amazing work was coming through the door. Which from a growth perspective allowed me to get to where I am today. I constantly refer back to the work I done at Provoke. The culture at the time of joining and for a good 60% of my time there was so inclusive, exciting, fun and genuinely gave you a feeling of purpose. Mason, Brendon & the Auckland Leadership team were great to work for.

Cons

Whilst it was a very busy time when I started, it was soon followed with lots of strategic change, which can become challenging when needing to minimise disruption. A form of identity crisis followed if you will. The change did bring around some quieter times due to poor GTM and subsequently, less interesting work for the wider business! (It did begin to turn around though) There was a clear change in culture also which for those of us who had been around prior to some of the key changes was not seen as positive thing by any means.
