Pros

Access to new tools, technology. Company-sponsored annual technical training. Pay and benefits.

Cons

Instability due to VSP - lots of employees are leaving with no clear plan for the immediate future of those who are staying. Senior Management which concentrates on unrealistic deliverables, interested only in bringing the project to completion.

Pros

Great benefits. Good people. Very diverse. Prudential is one of the most ethical finance companies in the world and it shows.

Cons

It's corporate America. Ten meetings a conference calls that one meeting could've done. Projects get half way done, then cancelled, then you a half cooked version is reinstated and falls apart. With a clearer vision at the middle management level it could really be a lot better.

difficult to get things done with lots of red tape. not great work/life balance, sometimes asked to work on the weekends and seems like taking vacation is looked down upon.
