Pros

Career opportunities that allow for growth and job satisfaction. Senior management is understanding, approachable and encouraging of professional and personal growth.

Cons

Benefits (particularly dental) could be better but for a non-profit the pay is far better than most.

Pros

There are many opportunities for working on new projects and career growth. The benefits are great and comp is competitive. Most important is the mission and interest in public health. I am able to balance being a parent with my work.

Cons

The need to fund-raise in a non-profit environment is getting harder so there is constant pressure. There needs to be more support for programs to develop new business because there are a lot of ideas that need support.
